Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 5 April 2021

Good evening everyone,

We took some time reflecting on Jesus and what He has done for each of us over this time of Easter. Were challenged by the verses from Philippians 2:1-11. In our culture of self-promotion, the thought of making oneself nothing is scary, to be honest. Yet, Jesus, the Son of God, did not hold fast to His rights or demanded His place, Instead 'He made Himself nothing.'  How?  By being a servant and obedience, obedience to the point of death.  Let's not draw attention to ourselves, instead let us turn our eyes to Christ and make Him everything!

We shared an Easter Breakfast Sunday morning with another family. Twans tried her hand at Hot Cross Buns. The first few tries were not so successful but we did not complain and were only too happy to be the "taste testers". Also went for a bike ride around the lake with the boys and a classmate of Anton this weekend. Lots of fun. Anton arrived home proudly showing off his burn/scrape on the back of his leg to his mom.

Praise Report: We asked for your prayer for Noak's wound last Monday. Since Tuesday there was definitely some improvement. I also started to put some oxygen on it as I did with Apo's wounds.  Thank you so much for your prayer, please continue to pray for her healing, physically and spiritually. On Saturday mornings, some of Twans's old students join me to visit and pray for Noak.

The lockdown continues so we still have online classes. Thankful for the internet!
The sewing classes are going well, a few needles broke in the process but in the end, most had a completed face mask!

Thank you for praying for us.
Love
Rossouw-clan
