Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 26 April 2026

 Good evening

Anton reminded us over the phone last night that often times revival comes only after there's been a death, a death to self and our own will. And once again I stood ashamed at having to think how long ago I earnestly said "Lord, not my will, but Your will", especially when I've set my heart on something, a decision or future plan.

Last week we had the huge privilege to attend Mon and Chantha's wedding. They joined the Acts program when they were teenagers and met Jesus. Now they are key staff of the NGO and actively involved in the Good Shepard center. God has started a good work in them and it is so rewarding to see them grow in their faith.  We joined the ceremony in the morning. The guests walk together with the groom to the bride's house carrying fruit baskets and are invited in. So imagine, hot season here in Cambodia, silk costumes, a few fans here and there and full on make-up...... the foreigners looked like wilted flowers, at least the bride looked fresh and very beautiful. Please pray for this couple, that they would seek and obey God's will en be used mightely for God's Kingdom.

Please continue to pray for our Acts students, especially the teenagers. Pray that they would not drop out of the program but continue to attend faithfully to learn and grow. A few of those who have joined the Sunday program have been absent a lot recently. The weather has been extremely hot, and it is difficult riding on your bicycle at 12 noon during the day. And then there are other factors like friend, boyfriends, phones that lure them away.

Mordegai is working very hard, building swings to bring to the refugee camp for the kids next Friday. Please pray for this outreach together with Isaac. More opportunity to build relationship and bring relief.

Bike for John's father: My mechanic friend just phoned me and said I can pick up the bike of Ps.Che in Kabal Domrey. Praise God that we could buy him a bike as well. Long time waiting for this one.

Thank you for all your continues prayers. Really need a lot of this time as we feel so depended on God in this time of our lives.

Love

Rossouw-clan
