Good evening all you lovely people
I hope you all had a great weekend and this week started with a bang, haha Mondays in this house are never good as it’s the start of the week and everything is upside down. With the great weather here, sleep is a privilege not for the faint of heart. We are on the point of taking our beds outside and doing what we did many years ago. These local Khmers are so wise that they build their houses on stilts so they can sleep underneath in these months. It is the coolest place to be, right under the house in the shade. Building houses with brick makes things complicated and hot.
There is a total vibe of exam fever in this house. Anton is preparing for his final exam in May and believe me, the poor boy is studying more than ever. All the parents need to do is to keep the man cool and encourage him more than ever. A lot of work needs to be reviewed to write the first exam around the 20th of May. Please pray for him as he prepares for this.
Mordegai is preparing to go to the jungle again. People are back at home after the new year and it is now a long time since we went and gave some meds to them. Pray for open hearts and travel mercies.
Please continue to pray for my school friend in SA. He is seriously ill with an infection after a big heart surgery. He is in a medically induced coma at the moment for the antibiotics to work. They are scheduling another operation this Wednesday. Please pray that the Lord will touch him and heal him.
Ouma Paula is finished with her therapy in Windhoek and back at home in Swakopmund. Praise the Lord that she is doing good.
Please pray for Toinette’s health, it is not good and a few issues need to be addressed. Seems that when one issue stops another one takes its place. Not sure if the heat plays a role. We are in contact with her cousin who is a doctor and will sort things out.
Thank you very much for praying with us.
Love
Rossouw-clan
