Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 3 July 2023

Good evening you beautiful people

We are greeting you from a beautiful cool Namibia. It is winter time here and inland it's cold but here at the coast, the weather is very forgiving. Being in the heat of Cambodia we enjoy the cold for a while. So nice to put on jackets and sleep under blankets. Small things in life that make us happy. Off course the food is an adjustment but we are back in a place with almost no rice and lots of meat, not that we mind. I try fishing but think the Weather is too cold for fish.

We are enjoying visiting with family and friends and its great catching up after a long time away. We are staying with Ouma Paula at the coast and we all stay in her small flat in the old age home. The old people are so sweet and we love it here with Ouma.

This weekend it will be Ouma’s 79th birthday and all of us will be ready to celebrate it with her. Please continue to pray for her. She is up and going and we need to keep her slow down as she can be a really busy bee. Such a privilege to be around her. Never complains even when she is in bad pain.

Mordegai’s mum is doing well as she is staying with my sister. We will see her again when we return to the city.

Pray for us as we need to return to Windhoek and be at our home church. We do not know a lot of people anymore as the years gone by some people left as well. It seems that we need to re-introduce ourselves at church. We are so privileged that our church is still standing with us from as far back as 1996 till now. Listening to some of my mission friends, that seems like a record.

Please contact us in Namibia on Messenger or Whatsapp or Telegram as we do not have a local number and we can see how we can connect with you. Love to hear from you all.
