Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night Prayers 13 Feb. 2023

Good evening all you lovely people

At the moment Toinette is still in Bangkok awaiting her next flight back home to Namibia.  We are not sure for how long but she will be there to help take care of her mum and help her brothers to make the most of the time with her precious mum. I am not so sure what is going on but all we know is that Ouma Paula got lots of pain and she is still taking strong medication to deal with the intense pain. Hopefully, she will be able to return home to Swakopmund soon and then Toinette will be there for her. Please pray for the family as they need to cope with this terrible time. Pray for Ouma Paula to stay calm in this storm.

We thank God for a wonderful outreach into Kampong Tom. We started with Heang and listened to their little house church, which was a true blessing to see a few people gathering under their house. My friend Samaai came from the North to join us and we hit the trail into the jungle. My joy was great as the people were so thankful to see us as I did not visit there in 3 months. So many more people are farming now in the jungle and the medical needs are big. Some ladies were sitting on the road to make sure we do not miss them. One guy even clapped their hands when we stopped and another lady run after us to stop us for meds.

They tell us that they need to travel far if they are sick and then they need to pay lots of money to get help and they do not have money to do that. The one sick guy was sitting on the road and he said he literally waited for me to come. We thank God for giving us such encouragement in this time and showing us that He is still working in these people’s hearts. We are looking forward to visiting again in a week’s time with another group.

Please pray for my friend who is leaving tonight for Turkey to go and help with relief work. Pray for safety as they need to travel really far in order to get to the epicenter in Turkey. We are blessed with such good friends from all over the world that can come here and encourage us as well.

Thank you very much for praying with us. We pray that the Lord will bless you all in this time.

Love

Rossouw-clan
