Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 6 February 2023

Good evening dear family and friends,

Anton and Mordegai had spicy noodles tonight for dinner and were sweating nicely afterward, not sure if it is from the chili or the warm weather. The nice cool weather of January is in the long distant past.

Our friend Holger and his brother-in-law are visiting with us and will accompany Mordegai tomorrow on a 4-day outreach to Kampong Tom and the surrounding jungle. Please pray for safe travel, wisdom, favor, protection and healing, and safety for all those coming for a check-up as well. They will spend time with the home church as well to encourage and share with the leaders and the believers.

Twans' mother was admitted into the hospital this past week. Upon further testing they found cancer and it is quite widespread. After Mordegai returns from the jungle Twans will fly home to go and help her mother in this difficult time. Ouma Paula is in a lot of pain at the moment. Please pray for her.

We're reminded this week that we have to love our Lord above all else, yes even above our children. Not easy to accept but somehow being reminded of this helped a bit and then also thought of Job where  God allowed Job and his friends to say their piece for 35 chapters but then He spoke and Job said he will put his hand over his mouth.

Thank you very much for all your faithful support and encouragement to us.
 Love
The Rossouws
