Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night Prayers 23 January 2023

Good Evening dear family and friends

We greet you from "a definitely warmer than last week" Siem Reap.  A week ago I would have still sat down without putting on the fan but now I put the fan on first 😅
It was Chinese New Year this weekend. It is the year of the Rabbit. All along the road people were burning fake 100$ bills in a drum in front of their homes. and special dishes were prepared for special meals with family and friends.

On Sunday the ACTS students received their first batch of school materials and school uniforms at the KoukResey center for the new school year. The parents were invited too and encouraged to partner with the Acts program to help their children succeed. Some of the students gave feedback on what they have learned from the program and how it has changed them. One student was so nervous he kept on going to the bathroom before it was his turn to speak. They shared how they've improved in their studies and how they learned about sharing and giving.

Please continue to pray for Twans and all the staff of FGC community link as they continue to build relationships and reach out to these children and their families.

Anton is working hard on his assignments. He is doing a bit better in Geography. Please continue to pray for him as he is alone much of the day figuring it all out by himself as the program doesn't really give much instruction.

Mordegai is packing meds and preparing for his next outreach. He is also making more wooden cars for different children from different outreaches.

We are going through a lot of emotions and were reminded of David who  "encouraged himself" while he was hiding in the cave from Saul.

Love
Rossouw-clan
