Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 28 November 2022

Good evening to you all

We are winding down our visit with Quinton. Today he went to the Temples and came back with painful feet cause of all the walking. We were so blessed to have a close family member here with us. Talks around the table got a new meaning while drinking coffee or just visiting together. He will be off to Namibia again this coming Saturday so please pray for him for safe traveling.

Went and visit Noah this afternoon and never before she was complaining of pain like this before. Today she could not lie down as her whole body was in severe pain. I was asking the Lord if it was really necessary for this much pain to her small and ravaged body? Some days things like this just bother me much and I wish we could understand the ways of the Lord. But not even His disciples understood Him, so who am I to ask for that? Continue the will of the Lord on Noah’s life and please pray that the pain will be manageable.

Please pray for Elizma and Pieter today. Pieter is in for a hip replacement today and we await some news from them. They will do one side first and see if they can save the other side for a little longer. Pray that they can save the other side without replacing it. Pray for a safe operation and quick healing.

Waiting for the mechanics to fix my car gave me time to read. This is something interesting I read.

People need to know that Christian leaders, singers, preachers, writers, whoever, are as cracked and broken as the next person. Maybe more so. Hopefully they are in positions of leadership, though, because they are serious about following Christ, and so people can see that real success in the kingdom of God is not about being strong and looking good and knowing all the right answers. It’s about continually yielding oneself to Jesus and determining to take purposeful little steps of obedience, and the ragged reality that it’s all about God and His grace at work in us.

Once again we are privilege to have so many people standing with us in prayer.

Love you all
