Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 10 October 2022

Good evening everyone,

It has been raining almost every day for the past few weeks. Twans came home from the village today with real "rainy season feet", full of mud. Very thankful that we live in a house with a tiled floor. Khmer traditional homes in the village are built on stilts but the bottom is just ground or right now a muddy pool. Back home children would come to class and first have to wash their hands, here Twans asks the students to first go and wash their feet before they start class.

A few of our students in the village have fever and chills. Please pray for protection and healing, there are a lot of dengue cases at the moment. Twans is also not feeling well. We are so thankful that Mordegai is doing much better. He is still weak and can't do much but he feels stronger each day. Thank you for all the care and prayer.

We asked for prayer last Monday for Angela who fell down the motorbike and needed leg surgery. Please pray for wisdom from the doctors and proper alignment of the knee.

Please continue to pray for the Acts program in both villages, KoukResay and Torpeang Tom. For the students and their parents to come to faith in Jesus and for their lives to be transformed. We see so clearly a change in the students once they start to believe in Jesus. This Sunday 52 children came to the Mighty Kids program at the church. Praise God!

We are still waiting for our passports. Please pray that it will arrive soon and that we will be able to renew Twans' work visa in time before it expires.

Love
Rossouw-clan
