Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 29 August 2022

Anton joined us this time again in the jungle. My goodness, we know it’s gonna be wet but this was insane. We plow our way through mud and water and finally got stuck in front of a river, but do not fear, the locals started a bridge and we could use it for half a dollar each. Bargain!! Our next big obstacle was that our bikes got stuck in serious mud. Easy to get the small ones out but Manoj’s beast got stuck for good. After about 30min digging and pulling and wedging, we got it out, with a reminder not to ride there again. The best way is to make a small road in the bush.

It was already late when we arrives at the temple. These poor people cannot even go out as it is just too wet around them. They just love us coming and leaving them some meds. We visited a new place and saw a lot of people there and could help them with meds. Lots of children are ill this time of the year due to the wet conditions. It was a hard drive all the way to Rom Jopon and we came there at 4 pm. Lunch was served to really hungry bikers while we gave everyone that came to some meds. It was great seeing our good friends again and we could help them in such a simple way.

We came into Som Poom when the light was fading quickly. Of course, our friends were waiting for us. Luckily I reminded the guys to not eat a lot of lunch as we had to eat again. She prepared some Khmer curry for us and it was divine. We went to sleep with full stomachs and very painful bodies. It was so precious to see everyone comes from far to get meds the following morning.

Our back ride was full of surprises as my bike died early and Heang had to pull me out of the jungle. Not to say what water and mud we had to cross. The Lord was really with us as we made it out in one piece. Of course, yours truly had to fall down on the good road. My back is still a bit painful but that is just part of this trip.

Please pray for a good friend’s marriage that is in real danger of falling apart. Please pray that this marriage will be saved in order to show God’s glory to the people.

Continue to pray for Noah as she struggles daily with cancer.

Please pray Cambodia: Siem Reap provincial authorities are having a tough time dispersing more than 15,000 people who have gathered at a farm house, south of the Kulen mountain, ‘to survive a catastrophic flood in the country and world,’ in response to a prediction made by a local politician.https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501140841/video-15000-gather-to-survive-catastrophic-flood-prediction-in-siem-reap/

Please pray for Anton’s school application. We are waiting for the online school to get back to us. He needs to start school soon as he is still on vacation.

Thank you very much for all you’re continuous prayers.

Love

Rossouw-clan
