Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 4 April 2022

Good evening dear friends and family

We've been blessed with a few cool days, even to the point of sitting down at the kitchen table without putting on the fan first. This is a real blessing as April is the hottest month of the year. Siem Reap is undergoing a huge clean-up operation. They cleaned up the river running through town and it looks beautiful. It is Khmer New Year next week and the preparations for it are in full swing. Public schools will close for 2 weeks. Pray for the students going home over this time. Pray that they would be a strong testimony to their families, for wisdom and guidance to be among their family, join in on all the cultural activities, and still be a Christian.

Twans was struggling with some or other bug over the weekend but she is much better now.  Anton is spending most of his free time preparing for the big exams in May. Please pray for him for wisdom and strength.

Thank you all for your prayer. Noak is doing much better, she is eating again, and a real chatterbox the last few days. Her wound looks better as well. I received a lot of great wound care stuff from Australia and could use it during my outreaches and with Apo and Noak as well. Apo's parents came over and helped to fix our swing's roof made out of straw and it was so sweet to watch them work together. They have lost a son too and have to watch their other son suffer daily. Please continue to pray for them that they would come to know and follow Jesus. We've invited them to our church, River of Life Fellowship, in the village.

We also want to ask for your prayer for Sothy's husband. He has colon cancer. They are a young couple with small children and live in Phnom Penh. Sothy was one of Twans' midwife students while we still lived in Phnom Penh. They are both believers.

Love to you all
