Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 21 Feb.2022

Good Evening

While writing this email, very loud Khmer Funeral music is blasting through the window, so Yes, we are back. It is a bit of a far stretch to call it music, as it has no tune or rhythm, it just goes up, down, left, and all of a sudden right. And that is kind of how it has been feeling returning and settling in again, this time without our big boy.  Anton loves being back. He is singing in the shower again, sounding like Michael Buble and sometimes a Carribian accent into the mix as well. He had a camp week last week and loved being with his friends. Here at home, there is a lot of fixing and cleaning going on and the rat traps are coming out tonight.

Visiting Noah every morning is standard again. Thanks to a very good friend Julius and his team, who helped while we were away. We decided that I will continue visiting and cleaning her wound. Her wound is big and it’s painful. Pray with us that we can stop cancer from spreading. She is still not open to going for an operation. Reality hits home when visiting here as it’s very humble to sit in her little “home.” It’s still one of my favorite things to do in the mornings, love spending time with her.

Prayer points:

- Praise God for safe travel and trouble-free entrance into Siem Reap.

- Please pray for our family back home. Not easy for them to let us return, especially after what happened.

- Please continue to pray for God's guidance, that our hearts would be stirred once again to be instruments of His love.

- Praise God for Apo's continued healing.  His father came to greet us and shared how Apo's wounds are completely closed.

- Wisdom, guidance in enrolling Anton for the Cambridge Homeschooling for |Grade 11 and 12. Also for Anton's preparation for the Grade 10 IGCSE exams.

- Please also pray for Bong Ovaltine, he is a member of our River of Live Fellowship in the village. He is critically ill in the hospital right now.

- Our re-entering into the different ministries.

Love to you all
