Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 18 Oct 2021

 Dear family and friends,

Thank you so much to each of you for reaching out with prayer, words of encouragement and giving so generously.  We are thankful for a peaceful and special funeral for our Gideon.  Our dear friends in Phnom Penh, FGCCL, and Water of Life families helped with each arrangement. We are really blessed. One of our friends reminded us of the verse in Psalms that says: "The Lord is faithful to all His promises. The Lord is loving to all he has made. The Lord upholds all who call. The Lord is faithful to all."

Right now we are back in Siem Reap preparing to return to Phnom Penh on Thursday morning. On Friday we will have the PCR test and then if it is negative we will fly back home on Saturday. Please continue to pray for all this, that it would go smoothly.

Dear Noak's wound has doubled in size during these past weeks that Mordegai was not able to go.  She did not look so good when he went to her yesterday. This morning she looked a little bit better. Tomorrow a friend of ours will go with Mordegai and he is willing to help with her wound care while we are gone. Please pray that this will happen. He will also bring his Khmer staff with him to minister to her as well. Took her a blanket this morning, she feels cold due to the rain.

Sent some of the toy cars/bunnies off to our Cambodian friends and they have started to hand it out to the children.  The children love it and are very thankful.

One of our Cambodian friends was in a quarantine center in the province for a while. Wrote to him frequently to encourage him as he missed his family. We were so encouraged when he shared that he started to share Christ with the other people in the center and how good this was. he was released and is back with his family now.

Please pray for Heang and his family in  Thor Piang Rosey. His mother and his in-laws are not getting along and now he had to leave the house and find another place to stay.  Don't know the real reason for this fighting but please pray for truth, grace and forgiveness, and reconciliation.

We love you,
Rossouws
