Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 7 December 2020

 Good evening!

Were encouraged this morning while reading Job 38 and then Job's answer in Job 42:1-2 " I know, Lord, that you are all-powerful; that you can do everything you want. " Just trying to stay focussed on our God, to be still as there are so many thoughts and worries. We are very thankful for God's faithful provision and protection.

Twans and the FGC team cannot go out to the village as the government closed all schools for this time. This is a great opportunity to do some staff development and learning new things. Twans has been teaching early childhood development. While preparing for the teaching she was looking at materials from a START program(a program designed by therapists to help teachers identify developmental delays and practical advice on how to help) she did around 25 years ago. Isn't it great how God's direction and plan can be seen throughout our lives? This afternoon they learned how to do the Tambourine worship dance. She brought the tambourine with me because she has to practice tonight. 

This year we meet and start to build relationships with some foreigners who live and work here. They are unbelievers and we pray that as they come to visit us, most are very lonely, they will see God's love and come to know Him.

The boys are doing good. Anton is back to online school. during art class, they were learning about Guiseppi Arcambolo (the artist who painted human faces with fruit and vegetables. Anton did a great picture of Santa Claus. Gideon continues to struggle with a bad sinus infection. We are still waiting for his workbooks to be sent from Australia.
