Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday nights prayer 27 Jan.2020

In some parts of the world, people are more worried and saddened by the death of a Basketball Legend than worried about the Deadly Coronavirus is spreading around the world. The current head news is about the death of Kobe Bryant in the states. Yes, it is sad that a Legend died like this but head news?? Really?? There are so many more pressing issues at hand but the media rather want to focus on a basketball hero than people that are dying because of a serious virus?? Something wrong here people. Or maybe I am just paranoid?

We do not have any reported cases yet here in Cambodia but I cannot but just wonder…. With the number of Chinese visitors to the kingdom, we can just hope that the screening process they have in place will be enough to detect an ill person. You see more and more people wearing masks and the authorities warn people about the virus. As you can see, around us there are already cases reported. Pray with us for this virus to be contained in due time. Because of the Chinese New Year, the amount of people moving around is enormous. Anton’s school already made some changes to some events at this time.

Please pray for Heang’s brother Ratha. He broke his hand about 2 weeks ago and did not go to the doctor yet. Due to harvesting and not enough money he properly or hopefully will get there this week.

Please pray for a dear friend Lorelee Planas Zayed. Her husband passed away due to cancer. She writes:”” Thank you all for praying. My husband is in induced coma confined in the hospice. He has been struggling with advanced-stage pancreatic cancer since June last year.””

Please pray for the Joshua generation or the Teens in FGC’s program. Pray that they will really see the need to be with God and that the influence of teachers will help them to commit more to the Lord. Please also pray for FGC staff as there seem to be more challenges in line this year. Trying to raise up leaders and make disciples is not for the faint of heart.

Thank you for praying for us all. Please share with us your prayer needs as well so we can pass it on.
Love
Rossouw-clan
