Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 5 November 2018

Monday 5 November
Good evening dear friends and family
It is starting to cool down a little bit here during the night time, for which we are very thankful. Went to Preah Vihear today to bring  a friend and her husband to where she grew up as a missionary kid. Good to see how the mission field has impacted her as a child.  Great to see kids going back to their old place and be so happy off all the memories they had as a child. We can pray that our own children will experience the same.

Twans was sharing that 2 of her grade 11 students are now coming to church again. We ask that you will continue to pray for the grade 11’s, that they will come to know Jesus as their personal saviour. Their names are Reaksa, Seng Heang, Srey nak, Davin and Sakhav.  The university students are doing great, working hard with the MOD (Men of Dignity) team to get the new staff house in order. The girls have started class already and the boys will start end of November.  We will receive a lot of teams during the next 2 months. Please pray for the whole FGC Community Link staff, for strength and grace during this time.

Please pray for safe travels on Thursday as I will drive again to Kampong Tom to do some much needed medical work. Pray for open hearts and people to accept some good old TLC.

Please keep the following people in your prayers:
Deon Botha-still very tired and weak
Marla Henderson – getting better by the day Praise the Lord
Fe Barrientos – continued cancer treatment
Mordegai’s mum is back in the ICU in Windhoek due to some heart failure. She is doing much better as off now. Pray for her to get more strength and pray for my sister that needs to deal with this all.

While in the village I talked to the missionary staying there. They are there  pretty long time and translating the New Testament in Kui-tribal language. He say that they are almost done and think of launching it by early 2020. I take my hat off for these guys translating the Bible in a language. Such dedicated work. Pray that we all will get new strength to do God’s work with dedication and the right zeal.

Thank you very much for praying for us.
Love
Rossouw-clan
