Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 23 April 2018

It was such a joy to listen to Randy preaching yesterday. He went on and on about the Name of Jesus. “Those who know your name trust in you, for you, Lord, have never forsaken those who seek you. Psalm 9:10” It was just refreshing again to know that we need to trust in the Name of the Lord. Afterwards we had a small meeting to discuss our existence of CFSR church. We are low in numbers and some people are leaving and and and…… Please pray with us for our little church. I could care less if you want to call it a Fellowship or a Church, for me, we need a place to fellowship and listen to the word of God.

Wanted to share about yesterday at Mighty Kids. It is really a blessing to see how God continues the good work He has started in some of the students' lives. The older ones who are a part of the Acts sponsorship program and have come to faith in Jesus are growing. 2 of our Gr 12 students were leading worship together with our university student O'usa and growing in their leadership skills. The younger group are now also raised up as leaders and it was very special to see how they look after the very young children yesterday. I asked them during cell group to each go and sit with one of the small ones and ask them what they need prayer for. They were so serious and prayed earnestly to God. God is faithful; our labour for the Lord is not in vain. Some seeds are falling on fertile ground.

Please pray for the Gr 12 students, they are deciding about their future. Some of them qualify for sponsorship from the NGO and they have to write up a personal profile and some goal setting. We challenged them to seek God when making their plans. We also ask your prayer as we need to find sponsors for their studies after they graduate this year.

Gideon is now enrolled with ACE Australia. His first workload arrived yesterday and we started this morning. It is level 8. Some of the work not easy and later this morning he became overwhelmed, crying and refusing to do it. I asked him to pray and ask God for wisdom. We prayed and sure enough, Gideon calmed down. After a few minutes I looked at him saying, "Gideon, do you realize you knew the answer faster than me and that you have been doing it without struggle." He smiled and said, "Yes, God listened to my prayer this time. Why doesn't God listen all the time". We talked a bit about how God always hears but don't always answer the way we want. Thank you Lord !

Please pray for the following people as all of them are struggling with Cancer.
Fe is in Manila busy with her therapy.
Manus Olivier is currently in Cape Town also busy with this therapy.
Toinette’s brother Quinton need to go down to Cape Town for a removal of some cancer.
My heart is heavy as this illness is taking people away before their time. Pray with us for these precious souls, and add the ones that you know of as well, so we can stand together and encourage people that struggling.

I am on my way to Kabal Domrey again, tomorrow. First we will have a medical in Thor Piang Rosey and then take the truck into the bush again to go and help some friends, deep into the jungle. Pray for safe journey and for Twans and the boys that will stay here.

Hope and pray for you in this time that God will become real to you. Let us go out and make a difference  in our environment.
