Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 5 March 2018

I shared this week about Anton that overcame his shyness. While riding past the very busy market on the highway, an old, stroke ridden uncle stood on the side of the road and try to cross. Here, nobody stops as everyone just rushes ahead and you need to dash over the road if you want. I asked Anton to go and give the uncle a help. He bravely took the uncle and escorted him through traffic. Got a big thank you, even from the policeman on the side of the road.  Back in the car he said: ”Dad do not ask me to do it again as it was awkward and I am shy.” Well, we could talk about this and I told him that small acts of kindness make a big difference. We as Christians need to show God’s love in action. Pray with us that we as parents can teach them while they are still young in order for them to understand the importance of kindness.

Our family is going through the moments of illness. Toinette is very sick with bad flu and coughing as well as Gideon with flu already for one week. Mordegai got a double ear infection and a nasty cough. The only one that is free is Anton. Pray that we will get rid of these illnesses soon.

I will drive all the way to Ratanakiri this week and did some outreach in a very remote area with my friend Samai. Pray for safe travels on these roads. Pray for people to be open to our help and pray for the pastor involved to show God’s love in action.

Please continue to pray for Fe.
Faith Journey Update:
10th Chemo(12 more to go)
Thankful to God for a fresh new day! For the first time, i went to the hospital without my wig on. Felt so light...wooh! Lovely, a nurse friend who had been in Living New Ministries- Medical Team to Cambodia was available to drive me today. Praise God Ruby, my caring and very selfless friend, was here to run for me my needed medicines. These two ladies are great blessings.
REFLECTION
My IV drip went so slow today. The moment I looked at it and waited for the next drop to come, i got frustrated and i thought, it's endless. So i decided to just rest and never looked at it. Soon it was gone.
It's like in my journey. There were times, i got so caught up with many thoughts about, " what if my cancer will end my life soon? "how can i do what i used to do with my condition?", how can we provide for our family's needs?" How can we be there for others?" worries...anxieties...helplessness.oh...they really come and stay if i allow too. BUT, when I close my eyes, and REST in the LORD, the PEACE of GOD that passes all understanding( Philipoians 4:4-7) guards my Heart in Christ Jesus.
Beloved friends, Thank you for holding on! I know that you all are there praying for me and my family which I appreciate that, but I want you to be Strong in the Lord more. I don't know what you too are going through in your personal Journey....How i wish i could be a blessing to you in return. Be rest assured, God will never leave you. There is an end to all our troubles!

Please pray for Cambodia in these very dark times.
The ceremony is hei neak ta, or “procession of the spirits”, and comprises a thousands-strong parade that includes bloody, but beloved, displays of devotion in the form of sliced tongues and spikes through cheeks.
The procession makes its way from the Sam Orng Chinese temple along the banks of the Tonle Bassac river to the Monivong Bridge. Marking the 15th, and final, day of Chinese New Year festivities, the festival is held here, in Meanchey district, as well as near O’Russey Market and in Takhmao – and versions of the festival also take place in countries around Asia. Participants are hoping for good fortune in the coming year, as well as to remove demonic influences from their homes.
For you who do not want to go online, I include a Document file on the bottom

Thank you very much for praying for us. We cannot stress the importance of your prayers.
Love
