Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 2 October 2017

It was me and my friend John that climbs our bikes and set off to the mountain of Phnom Chi. Needless to say that it was very wet and muddy. We had normal bike trouble as well as trees that fell down, cause of the rain and wind. We had to pick our bikes up over it. Tired and wet we reached the village of Rum Jopon. As soon as we were there the people were asking for meds. There were a lot of new people that work there. They had to bring an uncle to town to get meds and it cost them dearly in time and money, just another reason for me to visit these remote places more often.

I could give the malaria rapid tests to a man there as he knows how to use them. So many suspects that they have malaria and it will be good if they get tested before they take meds. I will leave more tests with them next time. Finally I had to open a nice boil on a guy’s leg that was bothering him for a while. Leaving those things can be nasty and although it was painful, he was very happy we could help him.

Savoring the moment
I arrived Iloilo City last Sept 18 and is scheduled to fly back to Manila for my third Chemo on Oct 5.
PRAISES...PRAISES..
- I want to honor and thank my sister Mary Ann Limbungan who is also fighting in faith against her kidney problem. Im staying at her place...enjoying the healthy food and lifestyle. I could not help but praise God for her courage and faith too. I had the privilege of going with her to the dialysis center twice a week and was blessed to see her overcoming the trauma of the dialysis itself , injections and the thought that this seems to be unending.Yet, her faith is founded on the Rock! Pls help us declare restoration of her kidney functions and for a miracle for her.
- Praise God for my spiritual family at Immanuel Christian fellowship who encourages me always.
- My brother Henry Barrientos and his family for the supply of fresh fish.
- For my friends and students who remember to visit, call or treat me out.Thank you.
- I am enjoying the richness of the land..fruits and vegetables that my body crave.
- i have the rest that was much needed.
There will be more!
PRAYERS..

- my safe travel on Oct 5...favorable weather on my flight date.
- that i could always be an instrument of blessing wherever i go.
Praying and declaring blessings to you too.

The flu bug is around our house. Toinette is down with it and coughing like a dog. Gideon and Mordegai were very sick last week and are still coughing a lot. Anton just has tummy problems. Please pray for us to get healed and be healthy to do our work.  This is rainy season and this kinda illness is everywhere.

Please pray for my uncle Hendrik from Bethanie. He is diagnosed with Leukaemia and in the hospital in the Cape.

The team of FGC is very busy now for a week and this week to come with the “No apologies” workshop. It is a busy time but can only be a good thing to teach these young children to be careful of the really sick world out there. We praise God that the children can be instruments in the hands of God. Continue to pray for the staff as they teach this whole week.

Thank you once again for thinking and praying for us. Hope and pray that you will have a blessed week. Please keep in contact with us. My Whatsapp nr. +855 77710772 and Toinette’s :+855 85519911. Please contact us with news from home or wherever you are.
