Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 23 May 2016

It was a wonderful time I had to be accompanied by Ps.Ivor and Kelly as well as Gideon , to the bush in Kabal Domrey. We could make it all the way to Rum Jopon, cause last time the car broke down, before we could reach there. Ps.Chi was sharing the Gospel with the few people that are still living there, that are about 10 families. We could pray for one guy with a swollen stomach, possible kidneys that are shutting down. We are full of hope that God will hear our prayers and heal him.

On our way to the next village, the car broke down again. Seems that someone is not happy to have me there as this road become now a nightmare instead of a good dream, hahaha. After 2 hours we were on the road again just to break down again in a rice field. At least we could wash ourselves clean in the river before getting home, or almost as the car broke down again about 1km from home.

It was good to see Ps. Ivor sharing with Ps.Chi and his wife. They asked that we need to pray for young children, 10 years old, that are drinking. Pray that the children will not fall in the trap of despair. While fixing the car the next day, I could help a guy that wrapped his tractor around a tree and cut his leg badly. Not only do we fix cars but also fix people.

In all of this could even celebrate Gideon’s 13th birthday. What a big boy he has become. Praise the Lord for Gideon.

Rainy season finally arrived and we get rain almost every day now. Just pray with us that all the holes fill up with water and that the dams will too. Farmers started to plow fields but the rain is not enough yet in parts of the country.

Our prayer for Syria this week:
Acts 2:18   “Even on my servants, both men and women, I will pour out my Spirit in those days, and they will prophesy.”
Thank You God that You are pouring out Your Spirit in the north, in the south, in the east and in the west. You are pouring Your Spirit out upon men and women, upon children. Thank You that Your Spirit is like a rushing river, covering the weak and the strong, giving them boldness beyond their years, and a heart full of Your Spirit in order to prophesy of Your truth and Your salvation.
I was attending a prayer conference this week and was so impressed. A man from a Kurdish city in Syria stood up and proclaimed boldly, “You pray for the war to end. I do not pray for the war to end. Before the war, the government would not allow us to start a church in my city. But since the war began, we now have three churches in my city!!! Do not pray for the war to end. Pray for Syria to become 100% Christian!” Wow!
Father God, I thank You for the opportunities that have arisen because of the war. I thank You for the desperation of the people. God, as this bold man declared, I pray that Syria would become 100% believing in Jesus Christ!! I thank You that what Satan has intended for evil, You have certainly turned around for good. Jesus, please pour out Your Spirit on those in dire need and in harms way. May they prophesy of Your truth and may many many many come into Your Kingdom in this time. Yes Jesus, all things are possible in You, even a nation and a people becoming 100% believers.

Hope that this week will be a great week for you all.
Love
