Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers Oct.6 2014

Hey from a very noisy Phnom Penh. Miss he countryside around our house in Siem Reap. I am down here to do some visa things and let us stay another year in Cambodia. Just had one of that wonderful days yesterday on a bus here. Took us 9,5hours to finish 300km. And they call it the highway......Well only in Cambodia like they say, Land of Wonders, hahahaha. At least we had a lot of time for listening to worship music and soak in the beauty of this place. It is a beautiful color green, hard to describe to people in Namibia as we never have that kind of green there........

Today was a very hard day for Toinette as Gideon went to real school again.
He is very rude towards Toinette and do not want to listen to her anymore.
Now some of you will just say he needs more discipline.....or they are bad parents...or they just do not know how to parent kids...believe me, that is not the case. We sometimes think we are abusing the poor kid cause we need to be so hard on him. Please pray with us for Gideon's mind. He believes that he need to live in Freedom and he really acts it out.
Yea, I know , hormones and all those things start to kick in at 11 years, but this is different. Pray with us that Gideon will start to calm down and listen to us as parents.
Pray for Toinette as she need to listen to him saying such hurting things towards her.

So many things happens in the world today and we do not know which or what to pray for. As we start to pray for one of the issues about Ebola another situation of ISIS pops up or new issues of refugees here in Cambodia or killings somewhere else. Pray that we will not lose focus on our work here. I believe the Enemy wants to distracts us from the good things that happens so that we cannot concentrate on all the good stuff happening. Listen to wonderful stories about people coming to Christ, up North and this land is ripe......

This is a small report from my friend Gordon up in Ratanakiri.
The Lord has been good. Lots of challenges still, but good fruit coming up through the thickets. We are praising God for outreaches into 2 new villages (one Kreung and one Tampuen) over the last 4 months – with roots going down deep and people coming to the Lord through their family and community networks. It has been a season of the Lord dealing deeply in heart issues amongst his people. We are also being challenged to step up prayer ministry for healing of the land. Many witnesses are saying that we are coming into a season of favour for the land of Cambodia. Please join us in agreeing with Heaven (before the throne of grace) for our Father to pour out everything that He has reserved in his heart since the beginning of time for this land.

Thank you all for your input into our lives and for all the prayers we always need and cannot live without. Keep in contact.
Love
Rossouw-clan
