Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday Night prayers Sept.1 2014

Hit me like a rock just now. Tomorrow will be our 20th Wedding Anniversary and I totally forgot about it. So busy this side with everything, school started and Toinette teaching in Ywam. This morning I started my house-man job for this week, by washing dishes, then fixed a leaking tap, make slingslots for the boys, yes mums need to do things like that, and then clean the house. In the meanwhile I also had to homeschool Gideon and made lunch. Sjoe, how does housewives get time to do it all.

Thank the Lord for 20 wonderful and surely adventurous years with the best wife ever. Feels like yesterday that we walked down the aisle and said ""YES"  Just asked Anton to make me a card so we can get prepared for tomorrow....  It is also Anton's birthday on the 7th and we will be partied out this week.........

Please pray for the students of the Primary Health Care course as they get an overload of information on a lot of things they need to learn. PRay that they will get the desire to go and teach their own people in the village, one day. Toinette is teaching about Midwifery and soon I will be up for some Dental lessons.

Thank God for the commitment of FGC Community link to extend our commitment with teaching in the villages. Next year we need to  register with the Ministry of Education in order to fulfill our commitment here. Pray for Angela as she need to do all necessary paperwork.

My leg is getting an overload of exercise as I am out of the house and cleaning everyday. I can already walk pretty good with one crutch, if I just hold a broom or something else in my left hand. Balancing a bit of a problem still. Nice to be able to drive car, even a manual. Good exercise for the knee to hit the clutch all the time.

Hope you have a wonderful week and may the Lord bless you all.
Mordegai for us all
