Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers Feb.17 2014

Hey there all
We want to start by saying a big thank you for all your support, financially as well as spiritual. the Body of Christ works perfect together in times like this.
Being at home is so much better than in the hospital. Hop along here in the house from the kitchen to the bedroom. Next Monday the stitches get out and will have more movement on my leg, cannot wait. Please pray for patience as I sit around here, doing nothing. Pray against any infection.. Please pray for Toinette that is coming down with flu and need to do so much.

Please pray for our dear missionary friends Ralph and Kim Lewis. They came all the way from the province to cheer us up and this terrible accident happened. Please pray for them to get over all the emotional damage been done.
Their story:
Today has been a very tough day and I want to thank each and everyone of you who prayed for us.
About 10:15 this morning we were driving to Siem Reap and a small boy ran from behind a truck into the road right in front of our car. We hit him hard but Ralph stopped and found that he was still breathing so got his mother and we took off to the nearest Children's hospital about 45 min down the road.
Austin held this little guy the whole way making sure he was still breathing. Once we arrived at the hospital, Austin carried him into the emergency room and within minutes, the little boy was gone.
Ralph drove the boy and the family back to their home and sat with them and then went with the police to show them where the accident had occurred.
There was a financial settlement made and we have 10 days to get it to them.
A paper was signed that with this settlement Ralph is clear to go and that he had not broken the law.
Our heart breaks for this family!
Please pray for them!
God knew all of this before we ever left the village this morning and it did not take him by surprise. We are grateful that He went before us and made the settlement smooth.
I have no more words....we are all in a bit of shock.

Praise God for a real blessed Sunday afternoon in the village where FGC Community Link did some Value teachings. 21 Teenagers gave their hearts to the Lord. After a lot of time spend their withthem, finally we see the Light shining. God is good in encouraging the staff as well. Pray that as time pass the children became stronger in the  Word withthe help of the staff of FGCCLC

Thank you for continuing praying for us, we really need it right now.
