Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Advance Monday night prayers Jan 13 2014

I am on my way again up to the North and therefor write you in advance. Please pray for me as I travel again by bike tomorrow and we will visit one of my most favorite places, Koklak and then off to a Lao village in the heart of the jungle. From there it is all the way to Siem Pang. Great road for off road riding. We visited already 2 times now and hope to make more friends by doing some medical stuff. Pray for safe riding and NO breaking of bikes.

Give praise to the Lord that I could sell the Land Rover. It took a while and lots of money and patience later, we found the right guy who want to continue driving Trucky. Sad to see him leave but also know that I can do without him. We thank God for the blessing this truck was to us. From now on, I will do all my outreaches on bike. Well, at least now we have money to go home, heeeehaaaaaa

School started and Anton is in a new school. He is attending Elim ACE school that is run by a Filipino lady. The program is ACE and the same that Gideon is doing now. Anton seems to like it and work hard to finish all he have to do. Praise God for a smooth transition. Pray for Twans that is busy with Gideon here at home.

Please pray for our NGO. Lately most of our men staff, decided that they want to leave. We had already 3 now that resigned. At this stage there are only 1 guy left with the girls. We are assessing options on what to do. Please pray that the decisions that will be made, based on the current situation, will be wise. This is truly a missionary graveyard this place. so many people give up hope in a short time that they are here. Short term here is not so effective. Everything here takes time as the enemy does not want God to win people's hearts. The battle is fierce and we need to fight.

Leave you with this wonderful song. Thank you for the Cross: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=_EZtMO5e4fw

Thank you very much for your continued prayers. May God Bless you in this week to come
Mordegai
