Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan,Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages up in the far North of Cambodia, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors as well as the Department of Health of Ratanakiri.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Homeschooling Gideon is a task not for sissies, while Anton is in Eli school. .She joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers May 13 2013

Dear friends and family

It's the King's Birthday this week so again no school today. We went to the lake together with our South African friends this morning for picnic/breakfast. Were blessed to have them here for the weekend.

We have new neighbors, they came over this afternoon, saying that our dog actually belongs to them because they bought it 3 days ago from our previous neighbors. Hmmm....... Wilbert was growling at them so it was not difficult to proof that she was our dog, Right now they are stripping our mango trees from their side of the fence. Will go over tomorrow and give them a bag full of mangos. Our stay here could become interesting.....

1. Please pray for our vehicles, all broken down in need of good fixing.

2. Praise God for the money that came in for the motorbike. We are so thankful.

3. Gideon's  10th birthday on the 18th.He is very proud to be having his first double didget birthday, that means he can go to bed half an hour later and have more food. Please thank God for the miracle He is doing in our son's life. What a privilege to be a part of his life and see how he grows. Please pray for our children, for protection and a heart to follow after God.  We are very dependent on God as parents for wisdom and guidance to be better parents to our children.

4. For the women in Tnol village : We need to earnestly pray as they are quite resistant to the gospel. Pray as the team of FGC Community Link so faithfully serve there all week, that the women's eyes will open and see the love of God, the truth. Pray for Davee as she translates for Toinette, that the Holy Spirit would speak through her, that she herself would be touched and filled with God's love for the women.

5. Thank God for Mordegai's continued healing, he is still in pain most of the time and moves with difficulty.
