Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Sunshine

Sunshine, the little girl with a fist size tumor next to her neck will be admitted to hospital on Sunday and they will do an operation on her. We would love to see the sunshine in her life again. Please pray for her mum that is very worried. We will help them to pay for some expenses in hospital.

By now she is most properly operated on already. Let me tell you how. they went of to the local hospital and came back with tears in their eyes as the doctor told them to wait cause they need a special kind of machine to perform the operations. The swelling is already so big and their is a risk of losing lots of blood and a possible facial damage. We went to Dr Wong, but he also said we need to wait as this is serious. He said he will talk to someone he knows. Well the mother went to the mayor. When she came there the mayor pity little Sunshine and send them to Davao Doctors Hospital, the most expensive in town. They will do the operation for free now. God is good even using a mayor. We are awaiting the outcome to see what happened. Please pray with us for the speedy recovery of this little girl and that there will be no damage at all.

It turned out to be such a blessing to all. The operation was done and Sunshine was a celebrity in the end. All the TV people and radio was there to see her. She turned out to be such a little princess in the end. They came by after the operation so we could see her. What a beautiful girl she is.

Years passed and one day I met them again in the market. I could not believe my eyes. She is so big and such a lady. Before we know it, God turned this little girl into a real princess. Our God is good, He can use a nobody to help a somebody. In His eyes Sunshine was like the Mayor, powerful and rich. Once again the mayor was a vessel in the Lord’s hands.

Praise God
