Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Kenneth

Want to tell you about a real nice young man that god touched so miraculously. His name is Kenneth. Graham, you know his brother Loloy. Well, Aprillyn's nanny came and asked us one day to help Chistina with her one child. Kenneth is 16 years old. He loves to play Basketball and very active. At least 3 months ago he started to get numbness in his legs but he could still walk. But last week he could not even stand up anymore. I went there and ask him if he had any heart problems. But he is so young and there was nothing wrong. He was paralyzed in one side and the other side was almost paralyzed. I was shocked to see him laying there and cannot do anything. The family have lots of problems. they are 9 children, ,the father do not work and the mother need to wash clothes to get food in the house. they had no money to go to the doctor and there was nobody to look after all the small children. Well I just told them that she need to ask someone to look after the children and bring Kenneth to the hospital as soon as possible. We paid for a couple of tests. They put him up in ICU for observation and I saw them asking for a CT scan, but God is good. All that was wrong is the fact that he had a low count of Potassium in his body. they call it "Hypo-Kalemia"(spelling please) Well he had to get a lot of Kalsuim. I asked and Dr. Dienega said that it is because he is so active and sweat a lot and his diet is not good enough to make up for lost Calcium in his body and that is why he became like that.

After buying a couple of tablets he was up and going again. Is God good or what???? We thought he had this huge problem something with spinal cord and in the meantime it was Calcium. We will pay him a visit all the time to fill up his vitamins. Well the hospital bill was a huge amount of U$4. Yes can you believe it!! After all these operations this month we hid a jackpot and got almost everything for free, again.
