Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 9 March 2026

 Dear family and friends

Greetings from the land of wonders! We had a busy week and are thankful for our Father's guidance and protection. The sermon was from 1 Corinthians 13 yesterday and left with the reminder that faith will become sight, hope will be fulfilled, but love will persist.

On Saturday afternoon, Twans went with some of the teachers of ROL foundation to conduct a Mother's Day program for the kids and their moms from the ACTS program in another village. Twans shared about "Nurturing our children" with the mothers.  It was very touching to see the kids presenting their cards to their moms. The mothers were so touched that many of them got teary-eyed. The kids then started crying too. Even the teachers got emotional. In their daily busyness and struggle to make ends meet, moments like this are rare.

The kids from the Acts program in KR also learned about forgiveness in families this week. Some were honest and said they don't really want to forgive. Afterwards, quite a few opened up in the small groups, some sharing about their hurt and struggles.

Please continue to pray for the children and their families that come to the Acts program in both villages. That the parents would allow their children to come to the Children's ministry on Sundays. For better relationships with the parents.

We ask your urgent prayer for Pastor Dim's little girl. (Pastor Dim from Torpeang Roseay ). She fails to thrive and has some developmental delays as well. The hospitals in Phnom Penh just gave vitamins but we suspect something more serious is going on. Tomorrow morning, they will go to Angkor Children's Hospital here in Siem Reap. Please pray for wisdom for the doctors, and open communication. Please Pray for guidance, provision and healing.

Thanks very much for praying with us. May you experience the Lord in a new way this week to come.

Love

Rossouw-clan
