Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 23 March 2026

 Monday Night Greetings

A warm hello here from Siem Reap. It’s getting dark here but Mordegai is still in his workshop making toy cars. Him and Anton will join Isaac on Thursday to go and hand out food and toys for the children to the refugees from the border who still are not allowed to return to their land. Please pray that the continued issues with Thailand on the border will be resolved and that these families can return home.

Anton flies back on Saturday so we will take the bus down to Phnom Penh on Friday. It was so good to have our son with us this whole month. We talked and talked and ate and ate and ate. We told Anton it’s time for him to go back because he ate a hole into the refrigerator! Please continue to pray for him, his relationship with our Lord Jesus, protection and guidance for the future.

Mordegai shared out of Matthew 26 and 27 in church yesterday. He showed clips from “The Gospel according to Matthew” movie, focusing on Judas’ and Peter’s betrayal, reminding us that we need to look at our relationship with Jesus. Persecution will come and will we like Peter say “I will never betray you Lord” and then deny Him 3 times. Please pray for one of the church member, Uncle Vee. He is so faithful in attending church, prayer meeting and cell groups. He gave thanks to the Lord last Sunday during the time for Testimonies saying God provided 2 opportunities for him during the week to earn a bit of money. It really touched my heart, he was so thankful for those 2 times, and we are blessed every day with enough to eat. His wife is not a believer and used to treat him badly. He says she is not so bad towards him anymore because he is a better husband now that he follows Jesus. We pray that she would come to know and follow Jesus too.

Thank you once again for praying with us.
