Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton is studying in Malaysia. Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 21 July 2025

Good Evening, dear family and friends

After a few crazy days traveling to Phnom Penh, crossing the Vietnam border, and back, we could finally breathe a shaky sigh of relief: “Praise God, we got it.” Thank you for all your prayers for our visas. The first difficult part is over now we are applying for the next part. Please continue to pray that our visas will be granted for a year.

We were reminded on Sunday to look again at Mary and Martha. I’ve always thought it was so unfair, poor Martha. if Mary had just helped, both could have sat at Jesus' feet. But I missed the point: Marhta was “upset and worried”, looking at what she thought Mary should be doing. Whether we read God’s word or do the dishes, we can do it with a heart full of worship. Not comparing ourselves to others.  Remember Brother Lawrence, “Practice the Presence of God”, a cook who dwelled in God’s presence while cooking and cleaning.

The River of Life fellowship is celebrating our 10th year anniversary next Sunday. We are so amazed, and we give God praise for each member, faithful leadership, and support, each child who has come to the children’s program. Please continue to pray for this small fellowship, to continue to grow and be a light in Cambodia.

Thank you for your prayer for the diabetic uncle’s wound, where they amputated his leg. It is looking good. Pray for this family to come to know Jesus. Chea is a bike mechanic and works hard to support his family. I have known him for many years.

We are still waiting for Anton’s new passport to arrive. He needs it to renew his student visa. Please pray that it reaches in time.

Thank you all. Drop in and say hello, whether in person or online. Good to hear from you.

Oh, before I forget. So sorry for the huge typo in last Monday’s letter. I meant LET GO AND LET GOD, not let go and be God. Twans is scared you all think I’m starting a cult.

God bless,

Rossouws
