Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 27 Feb.2023

Sleeping in the jungle can be hazardous sometimes. When we went to sleep, Anton was praying that the Lord send a small wind to cool us down, but he had to eat his words as a hurricane wind swept down from the mountain for the rest of the night. Needless to say that there were no mozzies and we almost had to strap ourselves onto the bed. It was nice and cool, thank you, Lord.

We were on our bikes again, just this time we were geared with the best evangelist in my books, Ps.Choeun. He can be old but he is rough as guts, I like that. His small stature makes it hard to ride the bike in the sand and even when he falls down, he laughs and rides again, he is tough as nails. As far as we went the Gospel was preached to everyone. The people respect him so much that they will sit down for a talk. Just for a backup, we had Curtis there as well, haha. Man, together these 2 make a great team. While I gave out meds they shared the Lord’s love with the people of the jungle. I can say for sure that it was a long time since this happened. The Spirit was moving. Greg brought some glasses and it was a hit.  Curtis gave some new Bibles to a Christian family and all of a sudden the non-believers were interested to read the Bible as well. What a great opportunity it was for the boys to kick into action.

We saw a lot of people as so many people are desperate to make a living in the jungle. All of a sudden the need is big as people do not have money to go into town and buy medicine. They wait till the bush doctor comes, haha. Anton was a true champ on the bike and we both just missed having Gideon with us. I am riding his old bike and he is with us wherever we go.

Pray with us for the people in the jungle to try and understand the Word of God till we return again in a few weeks.

Ouma Paula is back in Swakopmund and is doing a bit better. We praise God for a family that cares in such a time. Toinette is not lonely and has her anti-Ana, Ouma Paula’s sister. Continue to pray for Ouma Paula.

Enjoy this week and go out and make a difference.

Love
