Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 24 September 2022

Good Evening

We were so blessed during this very difficult week of the Anniversary of our Gideon's death last year. So many messages came in of friends and family thinking of us and praying for comfort. My sister let us know she was making "red meatballs"  in Gideon's honor because he loved it. Suzaan( my daughter) and her boyfriend came to be with us for 5 days. It was a special time of fellowship and love.

I started having fever, chills, and very bad body ache and headache yesterday and not doing so well today. Seems like dengue. Will go for a blood test tomorrow.

Anton's textbooks arrived and he is finally starting his year 11 of Cambridge A-levels.

We ask for your prayer for all the students who returned home during this religious holiday. The families all go to the temples to bring offerings etc. Please pray for those who accepted Jesus to be able to explain why they don't want to join and for understanding from the families.

More students are joining the Children's ministry on Sundays in the village. Parents are saying their children can go because their behavior changes and they want their children to go. On the other hand, we had a group of older students drop out of our teaching program. One student told Twans that the parent said " because the teacher loves Jesus". Please pray for opportunities to build relationships with the parents and their children.

It has been raining quite a lot. Streets flooded but we are thankful for the rain. It has not rained like this in Cambodia for a few years.

Please continue to pray for our passport renewal, then visa renewal, and then the application for a visa for Thailand. A lot of ducks are needed in a row !!!! Our passport application is stuck in China due to Covid regulations.

Love
Rossouw-clan
