Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 12 September 2022

As usual, I was busy in the garage doing some woodwork. This time on my drop saw and busy sawing some soft wood. All of a sudden there was a bang and small pieces of plastic flew through the air. The protection lid from the drop saw was in hundreds of pieces and the saw was not standing at 90 degrees but was off by a few degrees. Some plastic just got my upper arm but the rest, but I could not even find it. What happened?? I do not know, think the wood got stuck and jumped up but that was a mystery. I thanked God for protecting me as I got have had all of that in my face and cut myself really badly.

My friend’s wife came an hour later to visit and I shared it with her. She told me the following when asked when it happened. At the same time, this happened, her husband got them together to pray for me. Now you can believe in co-incidence but believe me, I believe in prayer. Thank you Abraham for being sensitive to the Holy Spirit. This is a fine example of what prayer can do.

Recently Cambodia is going through a few turmoils and spiritual things. First, it was the Doomsday prophet that predicted that the world will get flooded and people need to gather on the nearby mountain. Some of them are still there. Just yesterday it was ghosts. We are entering the biggest and darkest event on the yearly calendar, Chum Ben (24-26 Sept.), where the gates of hell open up and the hungry ghosts roam around for some food. I believe we can experience some of these things during this time. Please pray for all Christians at this time.

“”A group of students, who said that had witnessed an ‘evil spirit’, are today recovering after a outbreak of mass hysteria. The incident happened on the evening of September 9, 2022 at Sesan Secondary School in Kamphoun Village, Sesan District, Stung Treng Province. About 10 students worked themselves into a state of hysteria and fainting after claiming that they had seen a ghost. Some of the students were sent to a local health centre, while others were taken to the pagoda. The situation appears to be calm now, but a doctor from the Sesan District Health Center says that on September 10, a team of doctors from Stung Treng Provincial Health Department will visit the school to find out the real reason.”” https://www.khmertimeskh.com/501148431/mass-fainting-hysteria-after-ghost-sighting/?p=1148431

Please pray for:

My friend Donnie asks that you please pray for Huy and his mother Sokchea who was in an accident yesterday.  The Tuk Tuk they were in on their way back to Phnom Penh tipped over into a ditch. Huy broke an arm and his jaw and sprained an ankle.  His mother cut her face and had to have 12 stitches.  His father also had a gash on the head and injured his arm and shoulder.  Please pray for their speedy recovery.

Please pray for our outreach this week on Wednesday to the jungle. Some friends from Phnom Pehn will join me for some swimming lessons to the villages, as it is a high rainy season and lots of water and mud.

We are awaiting the application forms to renew our passports but it’s on the way from China, so it will take a while. Pray that it will arrive soon so we can get the renewal on the way.

Thanks once again for your prayers. We need it more than ever these days.

Love

Rossouw-clan
