Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday/Tuesday night prayers 2 Feb. 2022

Ya sorry for the late Monday Prayers but I guess every day is like a Monday.

Our time here at “home” is running up. We already bought new tickets with Singapore Airlines as Emirates was a bit late to open up to fly from South Africa. Not really sure they allow you to transit in Singapore yet, as with Singapore Air we can transit. Ugghh even the airlines got some politics going on. So we are flying out on the 12th of Feb. and we pray that all tests will be negative. Poor Inis could not fly as she tested positive and is flying now on the 10th. Abraham and his family are still trying to get out asap as they need to go back to Cambodia after a very long wait in SA. Please pray for all of us as we need to travel from the Southernmost point of Africa into the far East. Covid is still making waves in Cambodia and there is now a new variant again in the East, luckily this time it’s not from Africa, or wait, they can change that quickly hahaha.

We are getting ready to leave here in Swakopmund, this Friday and will be in Windhoek for the week. Hopefully to catch up with some friends and family and get ourselves in gear to move along. It’s hard to leave. I popped around the cemetery this morning and said my goodbyes, most properly will do it again. While being there a small cat came along and was so happy to be pet. Gideon would have loved that. Makes me feel close to him. Talking to so many people and discovering so much hurt amongst people who lost a loved one. We truly need to focus on helping people in real need.

I picked up Toinette’s passport this morning, Praise the Lord for that.

Pray for us as we are packing and say goodbyes, not good at that part.

Pray that the Lord will go ahead of us and paved the way for us to enter Cambodia again. This is going to be the hardest one yet. We are building up strength to face the battle for that.

Start praying with us that the Lord will reveal to us what our next steps need to be. We need the Lord on this as we are at a crossroads and need His guidance. Years ago, someone had a prophecy over us, that we will walk a big road first where it will be easy but as the years go by the road will get smaller and smaller and more difficult to walk. Never before have we encountered such heaviness around us and I must say this is the most difficult time we ever experienced since 1996.

Thank you very much for all your patience with us and all your prayers. We are hearing from long-lost friends and this makes our hearts so happy that we still can be friends with so many people.

To all our Chinese friends, we wish you a Happy Chinees new year. Wish we could enjoy it with you, or must I say that I miss the fellowship and all the nice food.

Love to you all

Rossouw-clan
