Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 11 Oct 2021

Our dear family and friends,

We are so blessed by all the support and prayer from each one of you at this time.  As we mourn, we cry out together with David in Psalm 22 as we put one step in front of the other day by day. A dear friend sent us a clip of a horse who got stuck in the mud in a pond. He lost all hope of coming out. Herdsmen saw that they could not pull him out. They got the rest of the herd to run around the pond to inspire the stuck horse to come out of the mud. As the horse saw his friends gallop around the pond he rose out of the mud. Thank you for "galloping "around us with faithful prayer, support, and encouragement.

Mordegai is doing much better, just gets tired easily and needs to take it a bit slower than usual.  We thank God for His healing.

Twans got back the results of her second covid test today and it shows negative so our house quarantine will be lifted tomorrow. We are thankful for this.  Now ahead of us is a lot of arrangements and issues to deal with before we can home for a break. It is not sure yet, but it looks like our Gideon's cremation will be on Friday. Some of our FGC family here in Siem Reap will travel down with us and there we will stay with our Phnom Penh family for 2 days.
Then we plan to fly back home by the end of this month and return to Cambodia in the middle of January 2022.

Specific Prayer Points
1. Anton still needs his 2nd shot of vaccine.
2. Sorting out Anton's schooling in the time we are gone.
3. Toinette's visa expires in December, so all the arrangements around that and to be able to return.
4. The funeral in Phnom Penh. Safe travel and for strength to say goodbye to our big boy.

Much love

Rossouws
