Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 25 November 2019

It seems to me the blessings just flow and flow. After our epic ride in the jungle, my best friend Grahame and son, Sam came and visit. Adventure ministry was on the menu. Another friend Peter came along and together we had a blast in the jungle. First, we did a needed medical in Thor Piang Rosey with our good friends Heang and his family. Grahame accompanied me here years ago and it was really good for him seeing the people again. In Kabal Domrey, the people were very happy to see him again. The next day was jungle riding again to serve many people on the road.

We made 5 stops on the road to give out meds that are really hard to come by. People live in very remote areas and to get to the clinics is a mission. Finally, I could make contact with a lot of people on the road. In the future, we can even help more people. Around the mountain, a lot of people stay and farm the land. Pray with us that we can ride all the way and help people on the way.

From there we went all the way to Stung Treng and Ratanakiri. We picked up my good friend Samai and we went to visit 3 big lakes and gave some medicine to a very remote area near a beautiful lake. It was so refreshing to hang out with 2 people I love so dearly, Grahame and Samai. Together we could talk about life and make plans for the future. It was like Grahame never left us and all of us had a wonderful fellowship the evening with another friend Thearith and his family. It was with a sad heart that we let them go again but hope to see each other again soon in the future.

Another blessing came our way by a friend visiting from Davao-Philippines. Tom and Evelyn MacIntosh, we met many moons ago in Davao. He gave me his Dental instruments with the instructions to use them. Well, it was used severely. We never visited with them in Davao as they were in the province but this time around we could sit and talk with each other and it was like knowing each other for all these years. As if we were best friends before. Once in a lifetime, I believe God brings people together, with the same passion for missions, for a reason. This was one of those meetings. So wish we were closer together as I can learn so much from these guys.

Please pray for the following people.
Annerina finished another round of chemo in Swakopmund. Pray for her as she continues on this journey.
Anti Pami Gregorio finished her 14th Radiation and still need to do 16. Pray for healing and encouragement at this time.
Please pray for the missionaries here in Cambodia. Just this week we heard about another young guy that had to be airlifted out to Thailand due to a minor accident that turned bad suddenly. I am convinced that Satan is working overtime to make people leave before their time. This week our big dog Maya also died unexpectedly. Toinette and the boys had to deal with this as I was in the province. I am not picking a devil out behind every bush but things like this make our children, questioning God. Pray with us to explain to them that God does not want to harm us but that the Devil is hard at work.

Thank you very much for standing with us in prayer.
Love
Rossouw-clan
