Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 10 June 2019

Time is running out for us and we are already excited to be home at the end of the week. We said our goodbyes last night at church to some fellow missionaries that will leave. Our Leadership team at church is moving on and all of them are going away. Our little church need to be move or not and lots of decisions need to be made. Please pray for the new leadership team to make such decisions. Please pray for our beloved friends Jez, Jaqui and Paul Heasman who is leaving for Albania, Scott Windus and his family who is moving to Australia, Isaac and Megan that will move back to the States and get married and stay there for 6 months as well as Mung and his family that hopefully will attend seminary in Philippines.
Pray for us for travel mercies as we will start our journey on Saturday 15th June. Pray for a safe flight as we fly with Ethiopian airlines this time.

Praise God: Andrea Calitz received a negative cancer count after her operation. We praise God that He is in control.
Pray for Manus Olivier who is currently in Cape Town getting treatment for his cancer. Listen to him if you are Afrikaans and on Fb. https://www.facebook.com/manus.olivier/videos/2853510408023339/

Praise God for a couple that received the Lord last week, after a house visit and started to attend River of Life Church on Sunday. Continue to pray for this little church as they really seek God’s will to see people know the living God.

Please pray for my friend Chea and his wife Srey Mom. They recently separated and just this week Chea came back and asked forgiveness to his wife and want to start over. She just started working in the city and need to make a decision. Please pray for the family as they are now up in arms about this.

I am reading a book, yes I am reading hahaha. Beautiful Outlaw: Experiencing the Playful, Disruptive, Extravagant Personality of Jesus by John Eldredge. Great book, I can recommend it to everyone. Read it on Kindle its easy.
"Friends, this is not simply a nicer view of Jesus. This is not merely a more winsome Christ or a smattering of fresh insights. This is not confetti—lovely while it falls, soon to be swept away. Jesus is our life. We need Jesus like we need oxygen. Like we need water. Like the branch needs the vine. Jesus is not merely a figure for devotions. He is the missing essence of your existence. Whether we know it or not, we are desperate for Jesus. What if you could have Jesus the way Peter and John had him? The way Mary and Lazarus did?"

Love you all
Rossouw-clan
