Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 20 May 2019

Just came back from an exciting trip with the Birthday boy, Gideon. We had so much fun. Things that a birthday boy need to do on his birthday, cut a big tree down in the jungle while everybody cheered, kill a snake, pampered a goose and got pooped on that he need to change clothes, Play with a poor cat that was desperately trying to escape, Play with a small baby owl and to top of everything go for a visit to Mr.Sok, a small monkey. All in all a great time for mister birthday boy. It was good to have my big boy with me and see him enjoying himself.

I went with Samai in the cut-forest and was overwhelmed with all the people that came. I brought enough meds for 100 adults and their children and we were swamped. That small church is bursting out their seems. Uncle Niko you guys remember that small church we visit in the jungle, now they cleared the forest and everybody is planting. Praise the Lord that we can go there and help the church.

Ratanakiri will not be the same without a visit to the Leper Anti. She was so depressed and full of pain when we arrive there. Luckily, Gideon with his silliness made her smile. Thank you Gideon, always there to lift the spirits. I convinced anti again to clean her wound as she was in bad pain. Luckily my other Leper friend was there and she allowed me. Went back this morning and she was doing much better. Please pray for her.

Talk to my good friends in Banlung and some good plans are in the pipeline. I am already looking forward to our return from Namibia in August. Seems to me that the door is opening up again in Northern Cambodia in Ratanakiri and I am very happy for that. Working with good friends makes for some fun times and great opportunities as these guys are full-on church planters.

Please pray for the following people:
Andrea Calitz is back home after her operation and need to wait a week to hear her results.
Manus Olivier’s schedule is most properly around the corner.
Alex McCann is still in Singapore. From his wife:” We knew Alex would be staying a few more weeks, that's mainly why we went, not seeing him for 5-6 weeks is too long. They need to make sure he is responding well to his meds before allowing him back. He will probably need to go to Singapore every 4-6 weeks for the next 6 months to stay under the same consultant.”

We praise the Lord for the rains that fell here in Cambodia. Everywhere you see, farmers are getting the ground ready and planting, awaiting more rain. Please pray that we will get enough rain this year. Please continue for rain in Namibia.

May this week be a real eye-opener for all of us. Let’s show people the love of God in a tangible way.
Love
Rossouw-clan
