Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 1 April 2019

Just a short note to all of you praying out there. We had a very good week and nothing serious happened here. It is so hot with the weather building and some real thunder going everyday, seems that I am in Namibia waiting for rain. We have the occasional downpours but nothing to mention here. Sure in other places in Cambodia it rained better. I heard about a big storm that damaged a lot. We are going through a real dry spill right now and even power cuts, nothing like in SA though.

The boys are watching Home alone 2 and I need to write. Cannot but watch with them, real old classic movie. These teenagers are getting bigger by the day. They are doing good at school and even Gideon is trying his best at home in the mornings. Anton is enjoying Hope school and we can see our small boy turn into a real little artist. He loves to draw and design on his digital pad. Soon I will send you some of his paintings.

Please pray as I am going on an outreach tomorrow to Kampong Tom with a good friend from Phnom Pehn. Donnie is an old friend that I met when I was still in the Philippines. He is bringing a doctor friend and we will go to the jungle for some medical. Pray for our safe travels and open hearts wherever we will go.

Please pray for Sonja Botha. After looking after her husband Deon, she also made it to the hospital as well. She has an Ulcer and Irritable Bowel syndrome. After all the stress dealing with Deon it is time that she also can rest. Please pray for this family to get the proper rest and healing they need.
Please pray for our sister in law, Andrea. They are going through a real tough time concerning her health. They are in the process of getting treatment and possible future plans. This is a young family, so please pray God’s faithfulness and love over this couple. Just last year her husband Quinton was struggling and now it’s her turn.

Twans had a busy Sunday. She shared in the morning with the teenagers in River of Life Church and then was preaching in the afternoon in the church as well. The people loved seeing the small video clip of how an eagle flies and afterwards were interacting a lot throughout the sermon on how we have to wait on God and will soar like eagles. There were over 30 people today in church and a few new adults. Please pray for River of Life and its members, to grow and be a light in their village. What a privilege to see people come to Christ and then even more see them grow.
Thank you to each one of you, we are so humbled and thankful by your faithfulness and commitment to pray for  and support us.

Love
Rossouw-clan
