Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 15 October 2018

A whole week of holiday in the middle of the year can be a hard thing to deal with especially if you have 2 teenagers at home. Between fixing stuff you need to keep them busy as well. I guess that is why we will stand in front one day when they give out medals for bravery, hahaha.

I will be on the road again to Stung Treng on Thursday for a huge party - country celebration - 25 years Asian Outreach Cambodia. Please pray for safety on the roads again. It will be good to catch up with old friends and time to make new ones. Its times like this that we can relax and just enjoy God’s provision for our friends in Stung Treng.

Toinette speaking:
The Mighty Kids program every Sunday morning is still going strong. There are about 50+ children that come very faithfully and it is such a joy seeing them worshipping Jesus. The public school year starts in November, so only a few weeks holiday left. This week the River of Life church is receiving a team from Manilla and with their help we will conduct a Vacation Bible School with the children. The staff, especially JunMar and the boys from MOD (Men of Dignity) is working very hard at the new office to get everything ready to start the next MOD program. The sponsored students as well as the staff will all also stay at the office.

Praise the Lord Andrew Brunson has been reports leased.
Thank you for your prayers!!! Yesterday was a very emotional day of ups and down but the end result... Andrew was released from prison and is flying with Norine to America to join their kids. Andrew has paid an amazing price... a great sacrifice. And I believe we will see even greater things because of his obedient heart and love for Jesus. We love you Andrew and Norine! https://www.bbc.com/news/world-europe-45842735

Deon Botha is currently at home resting and trying to get better day by day. Sonja, his wife say that his body is hurting a lot as he can only lay on his back as his wound still have clips in it.(it will be remove tomorrow)  His body went through huge trauma with all the surgery and chemo. Pray for healing.

We praise God that the small church in Kabal Domrey is working really hard to fix the church. With the help of some donors they are able to build a small wall around the church and remove the wood in order to get rid of all the termites. It is still a ways to go but they are really working fast. We praise God that we can help them to restore their little church again.
Galatians 5:13-15 ( The Message ) It is absolutely clear that God has called you to a free life. Just make sure that you don’t use this freedom as an excuse to do whatever you want to do and destroy your freedom. Rather, use your freedom to serve one another in love; that’s how freedom grows. For everything we know about God’s Word is summed up in a single sentence: Love others as you love yourself. That’s an act of true freedom. If you bite and ravage each other, watch out—in no time at all you will be annihilating each other, and where will your precious freedom be then?

As love becomes our way of life, we must constantly be reminded of His strength in us. Christianity is not an addition to our lives, it is a new life to live. When we let go of the world and find our identity as children of God, His Spirit grows the character of Christ in our lives. Ephesians 2:10 explains that we were “created in Christ Jesus to do good works, which God prepared in advance for us to do.” As we continue this walk in the Spirit, let’s begin next week’s journey into compassion with this idea in mind: I am God’s, and there’s work He has for me to do!

We thank you all for praying for us, May God’s love pour over you all in this week to come.
Love
Rossouw-clan
