Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 11 September 2017

Once again the road into the jungle of Phnom Chi was a real struggle but so rewarding when you stop in the village and get kidnapped by the people to go to their homes and have some snacks, and that in the middle of the jungle. All the effort makes it worthwhile in helping people that have no medicines in the remote villages.

We first stopped in Thor Piang Rosey and helped a lot of people with some needed meds. I later hear from my friend Heng that they have trouble in their small church. Not sure who the new pastor is but he came and ordered my friend’s family not to come to church anymore. Now people are really unhappy and my friend and his family are worshipping at home. I feel sad as they were the very first believers in the village. Please pray with us to sort this out in order for the church to continue.

We went into the jungle on bikes to Som Peau where only 1 family stay and then from there to Rum Jopon where there are 10 families stay. Malaria is very serious this time of the year and I could give people enough meds to last for a while. Needless to say that we were dead tired when we arrived at the church again.

Please continue to pray for Fe:
EPCALM (Adult Leukemia Foundation of the Philippines). Thanks Slochin Gragas for letting me tag along.
PRAISES ...PRAISES ...
- I met a support group from the Cancer Society who have welcomed me warmly to their circle.
They shared their testimonies and practical advices that have blessed me much.
- I also have the chance to meet Christian actresses and singers who have shared their life journeys through songs and life lessons. Ms Kuh Ledesma who is a famous Pop star preached powerfully and sang songs to honor God. She encouraged me with some verses. It was an up close and personal meeting with her.
Happy to have a pose with Angel Aquino a beautiful actress... A Mom with a dear heart.
- The convention closed with beautiful praise and worship and choirs singing hymns and choruses. I sang my heart out being blessed by God.
It was a beautiful night indeed. Praise the Lord!
PRAYERS...

Seems that the world is in real turmoil these days. Please pray for people in USA with severe hurricanes as well as wildfires as well as people in India and Bangladesh where lots of people died because of flooding, earthquake in Mexico and not even  to talk about all the wars that is continue to be a real problem in many countries. Lord please brings back peace.

Here is some news from Jacob and Carmen in Tanzania:

Thank you very much for praying for us. In these uncertain times we need a lot of prayer. Anton is doing better in school. Praise God for that.
