Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

News from Fe in the Philippines

News from Fe in the Philippines. Please stand in prayer for this family. She is the head-master of Anton’s school in Siem Reap. Big decisions need to follow.

July 9, 2017. Journey Update.
THIS IS IT!
My ER, PR , HER2 Result is here.
For those who were praying and asking God for a negative HER2 for my result, maybe you will entertain a question in mind, as I did...."Why God, are we not getting what we have asked for?
Yet, God has reminded me of His words...
"And we know that in all things God works for the good of those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose.”
Romans 8:28 NIV.
I may not understand why He has allowed it to me now, but we know that He does things for a reason and because He loves me.
THIS RESULT MEANS....
I will need 22cycles(one cycle in every 3weeks) of Chemotherapy, 18 of which is Herceptin meds ( for being a HER2 positive). Now, here is the FAITH stretching part.... One cycle would cost P90,000 or $1,800.
Let's PRAY without ceasing...
- that I can get help from the distributor of the meds...discounts or free meds? Or from institutions that can help give discounts on my medication.
- Financial help for this long treatment.
- wisdom for my family...should we take our Sabbatical leave? Or my boys will go back to Cambodia? So many things to consider.
- I will meet my Surgeon today for Follow up and my Oncologist tomorrow for my treatment plans.
Thank you family and friends for being there still for me.

Love

Rossouw-clan
