Went with Samai on an excellent outreach to the
border of Vietnam. We visited some small tribal churches. Our first village has
50 families where 48 families are Christian. It is the first village I visited
where the houses all have crosses on the roof. It is very encouraging to see
how strong the church is amongst the tribal people. I had to dig out a massive
piece of wax out of an old Auntie’s ear and the other one; I could not get it
out. She told me she could not hear and after I got the stuff out she said that
she can hear. After all, I perform miracles!!!
It was so nice hanging out with the tribal people
and hears Samai visit with the pastors. Pray with us for these guys as the
Muslims are getting in by their numbers into these small villages and
everywhere you can some mosques. Pray that they will stand strong in their faith.
It’s well known that the Muslims have money and bribe their way through
red-tape.
All of the next prayers are people that work for AOC
Stung Treng.
Please pray for our friends Jared and Emily Reid.
Jared is currently on his way to NZ as a pressing medical emergency came up
that is best to deal with at home. Pray for Emily as she will be alone in Stung
Treng for a while. Pray for them as finances are also tight and such an
emergency can cost a bit. Pray for speedy healing for Jared.
Pray also for Viley’s mom in Stung Treng as she is
struggling with serious cancer.
Pray also for Thearith and Thyda as they are
currently in Angkor hospital with their little boy as he is sick. Pray that the
doctors will be able to help.
We praise God for Gideon's 14th on Thursday the 18th
May. We thank God for the life of this "little" man in our lives.
Pray that we will take this week to prepare to leave
for Namibia on this Sunday. We are looking forward to spend some time back home
and catch up with all our family and friends. So will be a bit of the radar as
internet is not so good at home and we rather spend time visiting than on
devices………
Hope that this week will be another blessed week for
all of you. See some of you shortly in Namibia.
Love
Rossouw-clan
