Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 25 July 2016

Nice cool evening here in Siem Reap tonight. Cannot say that of the days, as it is still sinking hot with humidity soaring around 80%, almost every day. Love the rain a lot, as true Namibians that do not grow up with much of it. All these years in Asia and still amazed every day when it rains. Gideon and Anton attend Kings Kids from Ywam this week. Now Anton is on an outreach in Battambang, about 3 hours from here. He phoned last night and was a bit teary as he never leaves home without us. He was good today and is working hard, his teacher say. Pray for him to have a new understanding and stronger relationship with the Lord.

I will be out again on Wednesday to Kampong Tom, Kabal Domrey to do medical. Gideon will accompany me. Pray for safety on the road as traffic is really bad these days. Lots of accidents on the high way. Pray for open hearts as we will help the local church in Thor Piang Rosey.

Praise God that baby Grahame is doing better. Thearith and Thyda went back home to Stung Treng. Pray that baby will be safe and healthy.

Pray for the Warren family as they still struggle with illnesses in the household.

Toinette is doing just fine and the toe seems to heal well.

Praise God for the 1st Annivarsary of the River of Life Fellowship Centre. Lots of people came to celebrate this joyous occasion. You can follow this fellowship on Facebook and see how amazing God is in people’s lives.

Our prayer for Syria this week:
Jeremiah 12:12   “Over all the barren heights in the desert destroyers will swarm, for the sword of the Lord will devour from one end of the land to the other; no one will be safe.”

Father God, it seems like evil has been released over the land, that any person who has evil in their heart is doing as they please. But at the same time, people are coming to You… running to You. In fear, uncertainty, hopelessness, and without a future, You ARE drawing them to You. God, I pray that You would do a quick work. I pray that hearts would be open to You, and quick to receive. I pray that the sowers will overtake the reapers, that the one treading grapes will overtake the planter. (Amos 9:13) Father God, You have put an urgency in our hearts. Use us as You will… in prayer, in sharing, in reaping, in whatever way You choose. Father God!! Thank You that we can partner with You in the harvesting of this land!

*Abdullah was given the address of our church by a relative of his that was moving away. He came looking for us and found us. The next week we went looking for him, and found him, his wife, and three other couples living in the same home. As we shared various stories, they confided in us. In Syria they had lived among cultural Christians (Christian by name but not by faith) but had never spoken to them. Today was the first time that they had actually spoken with a Christian. Wow, even in the Middle East, I suddenly felt so honored that we could be the first Christian someone gets to talk to.

Jesus, I pray for this family, for all four couples. I pray that they would come to know You! Jesus, this man who came looking for us, is looking for more than just us. He’s looking for hope. He’s looking for answers. I pray that You would give Him a revelation of who You are, that he and all his household will come to know You!!
Frontiers did a great job with leading us to pray through ramadan. I just received this link to pray for 30 days for ISIS. I highly recommend it! http://prayforisis.com

Thank you once again for praying for us. Please feel free to write more.
Love
