Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon, and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it has to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work , where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish this year with Grade 12. .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday/Teusday night prayers 09 Feb. 2016

Sitting here in a guesthouse tonight with my wife, not supposed to be like this but I do not complain. A night without being in hospital, I take, thank you. Came to the hospital but there’s no beds available and they let me go with instructions and need to be there at 7am in the morning. Please pray as I need to be operated on tomorrow. Pray that the surgeon will have wisdom, how to perform the operation.

Please pray for my friend. Just an update on Peter Hoppy Hopkins. He has had 3 CT scans, one with dye, and they have been clear. He will have an MRI sometime soon. The specialist is talking TIA (small stroke). Peter has suffered what we were told were retinol migraines for some years now, and they are usually short lived with vision being affected for a brief time. These have been getting worse, and yesterday, his vision was really bad after his turn...like looking at life as a jigsaw puzzle and with a lot of red tinting. The specialist is concerned that whatever is going on with these, could have caused something to cause yesterday’s TIA or conversely, that there is something wrong with heart that actually causes the migraines. He is now wearing a heart monitor for 24 hrs. They are looking after him well, and in himself he is quite ok. Still has a headache, and blood pressure still a bit high, up and down a bit, but they don't want to medicate for that till they know what's definitely happening.

As usual our Syrian prayers for the week:
Psalm 36:2 “In their own eyes they flatter themselves too much to detect or hate their sin.”
Lord Jesus, please rescue rebels from themselves. Rescue muslims from the lies they believe. May they be stopped in their tracks and know that what they are following are lies... sin... blindness. Jesus, please lead them by Your mercy and Your grace!!
Mida and I sat on the floor rocking her twin babies to sleep. While sitting in their makeshift home with canvas covering the big hole for their window, she said to me, "What ISIS is doing is true Islam, and it's all lies. I don't want to have anything more to do with it." Thanks to ISIS, people’s blindfolds are being removed. And this would not be happening without your prayers. Keep praying. Thank you!
Jesus, I thank you for those who have had their eyes open to the truth. I thank you that lies are being exposed. As the dark gets darker, Jesus, muslims see Your light shining so much brighter and clearer!! Jesus, please show Your mercy to muslims and rebels still so blinded of their separation from You.

Love
