Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers Aug.17 2015

Just back from a nice 2 day trip with the boys, out to the province. It was just a fun trip, visiting some of my good friends. Could finally see the new church in Thor Piang Rosey after 7 years. Please pray that a pastor will come and help. Currently they have a someone that just help the church, but I am not sure for how long.

Apo's brother played with fire and fell into it, so burned himself badly. Pray that his wounds will heal good. He is the disabled brother. Apo's life is also up and down. Try to encourage the mother as she is not doing good with everyone sick in the house. His wounds heal on one side and the other its getting worse. Finally got to it to buy him a mattress and hopefully things will be better soon. He is the only one with such a luxury item in the house. Thanks for a sponsor from back home.

Toinette went to see the anti in the village that I asked, prayer for. She came back and was shocked at the way the doctors handled this lady. She went to the hospital and they gave her a checkup but the doctor send her home. He said that everything inside is not good and they cannot help her. So she return home to die. She do not even have a Paracetamol for pain and Toinette came home and gave her some of my good pain meds, from my bad-leg days. Now she is able at least to sleep. She cannot lie down anymore as she cannot breath, her stomach is to swollen. Pray for relieve.
Just to illustrate how things work here. The other day, a dog bit a small boy. The boy stumbled and fell over the dog and he got spooked. No rabies at all. Toinette asked them to bring him to the local clinic/pharmacy/doctor, nearby, for a Tetanus shot. They came back and say the doctor ask them U$25 for the shot and they rather come back as they do not have so much money. In this world that is a month's salary for most of the people.

Continue to pray for the River of Life Church. More of the children from Ampil Piam came this time for worship. Pray that this will be a place for them to worship freely and can come and have fellowship with others. Pray for FGC Community Link's staff as they faithfully go out daily and teach these kids. Pray that it will not just because of the English they need to learn but also of the good relationships they can build.

This next week I will travel again up North to go into the bush and reach out to a very remote village. Pray for safe travels. Will see my best friend Grahame, as time is running out for us to visit. They are leaving in a few weeks. Man will I miss these guys. Pray for the Dyer family as they prepare to pack up and leave for NZ. We want them here but we know that God have different plans for them.

PLease pray also for the missionaries that work around the world. Pray for their marriages to be build on strong foundations. We just heard a very discouraging story of a couple this last week that will go home and divorce. Remember that the enemy are always on the lookout where to break us down as believers.

worship in Kabal domreay

Ok enought to pray for. This is a long one, but its good for us to be reminded what happens in this world.
Love as always
