Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 31 Aug.2015

Sit here cause I am dead tired. My friend Grahame and Katy and family are here and we were working like slaves to finish a last building project. Yes you are reading it right, they are leaving for good, back to good old Kiwi country. Our hearts are sad but we are glad for them and pray for them for the next chapter in their lives. So we still have 1,5 days left and will make the most of visiting. Pray for travel mercies as they will still go to Phnom Penh from here and leave next Monday for NZ.

Quinton Calitz had his latest blood tests and scan done and he is currently clear of any Cancer. Praise the Lord. They want to make sure about some things in his lungs and he need to go to Cape Town for further test in the future.
Well that was then. Just 2 days ago, he was fishing at the coast and slip and fell down on his knee. His son woke him up and ask why he was screaming so much. He possibly torn the ligaments and hurt his patella badly. Will soon know the damage. Please pray for him as he need to cope with another crisis on hand. May God grand him special favor of patience in this time on crutches.

Dina Joubert is doing good on crutches. the doctors say that her legs are soft because of Osteoporosis. Pray for a complete healing for her.

My friend Quintin Liebenberg's son also fell down with his bike and broke his femur pretty badly. They operated on him and put some plate and screws in. Pray for the family and the young guy to cope with this accident and pray for complete healing.

Toinette was in church on Sunday where one of the ladies testified on how difficult it was for her to be a Christian in her village. when the local church closed down they were left with nowhere to go. Some of the members fell away from god but she always went and clean the church. People always mock her for doing it. One day she had a dream where she saw a big tree at the church and many people come there to worship. That was when FGC started the little River of Life Fellowhip Centre.  Good to hear how locals cope being mocked for being Christians.

How could I forgot about a very important prayer as well. On the 2nd  of September it will be our 21st Wedding anniversary. Thank you Lord for giving me a wife that can handle 3 boys in the house. Feels like yesterday when we walked down the church to be linked together for good. god is good for us and we enjoy life with our children and adopted family here in Cambodia.

Thank you very much for praying for us all. We say that every Monday but you will not believe what impact your prayers can have.
Love
Rossouw-clan
