Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers 27 July 2015

After a whole week away from home, I made it back in one piece. Thanks for praying for safe travels and all the adventours I was on. Had a real great 4x4 trip into the unknown as we took Ben's truck through the bush. We first visited a small house church and did some medical before we proceed to the next village. They say its 3km further and after 2 hours we were there, hmmmmm. This place is real remote and by asking where the nearest Clinic was, they said it was 20km in that direction , but its impossible to go there now. Perfect for me. So pray with us as we are looking forward and seeking out these remote villages in the the near future.

I joined up with good friend Friedhelm and a DTS Medical team in Banlung. With good friends Gordon and Bee, we went to the prison to pull some teeth. Turned out to be a real treat helping the inmates. We went back the next morning and could finish all the guys and girls with bad teeth. I was saddened by the fact that I had to pull a milk tooth from a 13 year old inmate. Was shocked by how young the children are that are in there. Pray for protection for the children to keep away from drugs and bad things.
Also had the opportunity to pull teeth from the Director of the Prison. We hope to be back soon again and help the guys wherever we can. The Health Care team will still work there this week. Pray for more open doors.

Made small progress with the process of getting permission from Dept. of h a Health in Banlung. Praise God that Gordon could help me with a letter. I just need to get it in writing and present it. Pray that we can find favor from people in order to do our work.

Also had a good time celebrating Katy's 40th birthday. Little time left for my friends to go home and I enjoy every moment I get to be with them. The children came with me today and Graham and Katy will be here tomorrow. Looking forward to a good visit. Pray for them as they are busy packing up to leave soon.

Please pray for Toinette as her health is not good. The swelling under her jaw is back and she feels very tired. My leg is doing just fine and the boys are all well.
Thanks for praying for us all
Love
