Medical to the remote

This Blog is all about the work of God. Nothing we do is without the knowledge of our Father. He is the soul provider for everything we do.
We are Mordegai, Toinette, Suzaan, Gideon and Anton Rossouw from Namibia-Africa. . This Blog is all about our lives here in Cambodia while Suzaan works in South Africa. We are real Farmers from Africa and we love life and what it have to offer and enjoy it day by day.

Mordegai travels to remote villages, doing much needed medical work ,where no other doctors go, with local pastors.

Toinette is at home with the boys. Gideon is no longer with us but Anton will finish with Hope school this year and start online classes .Toinette joins FGC Community Link Cambodia to the villages close by, teaching local children in an after school setting and also women about Health Issues in a village setting.

We consider us Asians as we live such a long time in Asia, eating rice as a staple food and not meat......

Our motto in life comes from a dear friend:

With common sense and God we
can accomplish a lot

Monday night prayers May 11 2015

Hear from so many people that are sick and in need of prayer, that I wonder what is going on? Where is this world going to? God warns us that things like this will happen and that we need to be prepared. We need to be sure about our faith as we do not know what the day of tomorrow holds. Everything we have can change in a blink of an eye.

Quinton and Liam

Andrea and Liam
Please pray for Quinton Calitz, Toinette's younger brother. He have possible Cancer, but still need to be confirmed, later this week. He need to go for an operation on Wednesday in order to make a biopsy and confirm. Please pray for his wife, Andrea and son Liam as they need to deal with this big challenge in their lives. Pray that God will reverse the outcome of the biopsy.

Eugene and his family
My friend Eugene Kleinhans from Cape Town is doing a bit better. I did not write an email about him. He is an old school mate of mine and had a big heart attack cause by bad Cholesterol. He is not out of the woods yet. He had a 4 times Bypass operation done and developed some Lung problems and had some problems with his kidneys and heart. Pray with all of us for his healing. Still a young guy and young children.

Dave and Natalie
I also asked prayer for Natalie and Dave van Rooyen. They are from SA as well and currently working in Laos. Natalie lost her 2nd brother in 2,5 months and went back home to be with family. Dave joined her and currently they are spending time with family. They are also in the process of moving back to Cambodia, so pray as they have a lot on their plate.

Apo and me
Apo's wounds also took a bad turn as he developed a big Gangrene wound that I had to cut out. Now his one side of his bum is almost entirely hollow. Pray that he will survive this challenge. I am here the whole week to help him every day with this wound. Check out my Blog if you have the stomach for it.

Praise God for a wonderful Mothers Day celebration in the village. Toinette is reporting that it was really something special. The older Khmer girls came here to bake cookies and the rest of the staff decorated the place. Together they had a great celebration.

We also celebrated Gideon's graduation of Grade 5. Took him 2 years but he bravely finished it. We went all the way to Viva restaurant and had a ball.

Thank you for your continued prayers for us all.
Love ya all
