Khmer New
Year is in full swing and everyone is in party mood. We have a week
holiday and try to keep the boys busy is a real hard job. Sorry I lost
track of time and totally forgot its Monday as it felt like Sunday.
Holiday is sooooo hard.
Had
a great outreach in Ratanakiri withthe tribal people. First time we
went to this village. Helped a lady that was in serious bad condition
due to an infected foot. Cleaned it up in 2 days and gave the needed
meds, but they refuse to go to hospital as they do not have money, but
ride a brand new bike. They will rather take the risk and stay as the
hospital means money and no help.
Made contact with beautiful people and had a blast with Grahame and Samai. Hope to be back in this place, soon.
FGC had a great New Years party in the village. Here in their own words:
""...it was a joyous and exciting day for everybody. It was our first time to initiate a table decoration competition where students were in group and they have to decorate their tables with fruits, vegetables and dishes. We were so amazed of their creativity. The students surprisingly presented different presentations with the help of their teachers. We were so grateful for everyone who willingly participated in different ways just to make this program possible. Please continue to support our activities that will motivate and develop these students""
